Flowers about 1 inch in Diameter. 5 petal like sepals. Numerous yellow stamens.

Leaves divided deeply into 3-5 lobes. At top of stem is ring of 3 stalkless leaves with flower coming through the center.

May form colonies.  Wet areas from late spring.
