Also called Praire Clover. Not a true clover. Up to 40 inches. Native.

Leaves are small and compound. 1 1/2 to 3 inches long. 3-7 leaflets. Less than 1/8th inch diameter.

Flowers in dense cone like spikes 3/4 -2 1/2 inches tall. Individual flowers are 1/4 inch.
